He's very good with feet as well. Assumed he was signed purely as u21 cover but looks very impressive. Played quite. A lot of times for Peterborough. Not sure why he has left there. I guess maybe they favoured an experienced keeper and maybe more to do with budget... You can see what a step up it would be for Mendel etc for first team. Long way to go. You could imagine Egeli would really stand out at this level and that's the difference in levels.

Yes that's mad isn't it. Pretty sure that must be just league games as I'm sure I remember him playing in a few cup games. I think he was damned if he did and damned if he didn't. He wouldn't have played much for us and if anything he went to to good a team. He had a decent season for us but I've never seen him as a top champ keeper (though brilliant with feet!). Too good to not be playing though. The move will have secured his future though and he's had a decent career. We have. Lot of good prospects on the books. Be good to see who makes it. Slicker has never filled me with confidence when I've seen him and a bit on the small side but he has talent. That Scotland appearance could easily have scarred him but I think he's having a decent loan.

I didn’t realize Hladky is 35. Assume he’ll ride out his Burnley contract then head back to Europe.

I mean he was playing for them aged 21-22 so you are going to get errors. He's not going to realistically get near our first team unless he can get ahead of our two other youth keepers but he's looked decent (didn't see their second goal). Playing regular L1 football at that age and he's a good size and profile in terms of being good with feet
