How many teams have conceded 5 in a game & been promoted ? 08:38 - Feb 23 with 1889 viewsBlueMoon

Genuine question. Teams will always have off days but how often have they gone on to promotion the Prem?

We beat Leicester 6-1 in 02/03.

Leicester went into administration in october but managed to keep all their players (rules were changed afterwards to deduct 10 points),

Leicester avoiding financial disaster. Not a lot changes.

From what I remember under Sheepshanks we also entered administration that same season and the authorities decided that there should be a points penalty for teams that couldn't pay their debts and entered administration. I expect unpaid creditors of all sizes thought that was a good decision. Well before the days of PSR and trampoline payments.

Never forget that in April 2021, for ITFC, the Game Changed.

Yep we did, but the rules had already been tightened by then forcing us to sell players outside of the transfer window (Ambrose, Herman etc).

It was generally acknowledged that by being the first to enter administration Leicester "dodged" it and they did little to avoid it. For us we held off but ultimately had little choice iirc.

Libraries gave us power
