The fixture supercomputer 08:28 - Feb 26 with 610 viewsGeoffSentence

Given that we have just had nearly a month of away games which will be followed by three home games in 8 days my guess would be that it's an old ZX Spectrum.

This fixture pile up nonsense could easily be solved if the Championship was just reduced to 22 teams. It is such an elite league now with players and managers regularly coming in from the top divisions in Europe that 46 games is just too much. It would be a sensible bridge between 20 in the Premier and 24 in League 1.

Ideally there should be a Premier League of 18 (to get the big 6 on board) and Premier League 2 of 20 teams. Effectively a two tier elite with much higher TV money for the second tier and no parachute money.

It's a mess because of the way they schedule the FA Cup rounds.

It wouldn't be hard to have ensured that all teams were either home on weekend of 6th Feb and away on 20th Feb, or vice versa. A ZX81 could have computed that.
