I’m also in the west stand middle tier and had a good view Will have to see a video if that’s your view I thought it was more a case of our players tangling, and he fell into them - I’m surprise you think it was Furlong, we thought if anyone it was Matusiwa Phil view “After referee Busby had adjudged Daka to have been fouled by either Matusiwa or Darnell Furlong on the left, a decision which looked harsh at best” One really frustrating thing about the ref was how he feels he needs to get close to the keeper prior to a free kick near the area, then run to the centre circle before allowing play to continue As for the penalty - Kipre is blatantly pushed but ref is not going to give that, the pen he was going to give it any was Mehmeti

But the foul looked soft

Was a soft free-kick. Not Matusiwa's challenge, but yes, Furlong had a hand in the back. Not enough for him to go down, hence soft. What I really object to is that ref didn't likewise give a foul when Choudhury had hands in Kipre's back in the same way **and tripped him** with his right foot in the last minute. If you're going to set a soft-foul precedent, then you have to be unchanging and give a pen. Zero consistency. [Post edited 7 Mar 18:05]
