| The core of our issues this season (not just tonight) 11:57 - Mar 11 with 424 views | TractorWood | Getting out of this league to me requires players like Moore, Chaplin, Broadhead etc. Players who are outcome driven, they try to make things happen. We have too many, young players who methodically focus on process and their natural talent has almost been coached to be suppressed to optimise xg, chance creation etc etc. This all looks good on paper but doesn't win you games when the stakes are high and the opposition pragmatic. Philogene is perhaps the exception who (at home at least) can be technically unplayable at this level. It's this reason I think we will fall short. We lack leaders and sufficient consistency in our spine. I also still can't believe that we continue to play such a high line. I shudder every time we give the ball away in the final 3rd and I know there will only be 2/3 players back. The recruitment has been bad if you look at it individually. However, if you look at it collectively on a sum of its parts basis, it's even worse. | |

| Never forget that in April 2021, for ITFC, the Game Changed. |
