Doh! Pesky predictive text. Now corrected.

He was poor today. Of bigger worry was Philogene. Obviously not fully fit and didn’t see a lot of the ball but was largely anonymous.

He’s more effective from the start than against Millwall in a stop start game. Clarke was great first half though. Hopefully Jaden comes back 100% in April.

Never been able to get a proper run in fairness to him but he's looked off it all season and just doesn't impact games enough. Was completely baffled by people suggesting he should get a run as the main striker because he scored from 6 yards against Oxford, and again last weekend when a bright cameo against the worst team in the league brought suggestions that he should be more involved. Thought the biggest difference made by a substitution was Hirst on for Azon. The latter was tiring and had just made a couple of errors but thought he was great all game against a couple of towering CBs - won headers, held the ball up, brought others into play etc. Then Hirst comes on and we completely lose the ability to knock it up top and keep hold of it. The difference between the two of them at the moment is pretty alarming imo.
