Fox in the box? 15:44 - Mar 21 with 483 viewsBlacknGoldnBlue

Not going to start a thread about lack of investment on a top striker but, just recently, how many balls have been played across the box and no one attacking the ball? As a player delivering those balls, how frustrating must it be that no one is gambling and attacking the ball?
Who was our last fox in the box that would attack those balls across the box?

If it’s any consolation, Boro fans are raging and foomin about them not buying a striker in the Jan window. Feels like we’re both stumbling over the line yet also in a really fking good position. It’s been a weird season.

Not really considering our financial circumstances in both windows.

Whilst it's a valid point, sometimes you have to win 1-0. I think we've managed it three times this season, but do often we make sloppy errors and/or show a lack of strength at the back which we're punished for.

Yep. Azon gets in positions but a combination of tame finishing and outrageous goalkeeping have held him back. Hirst meanwhile seems to have forgotten about movement in the box. He's on his heels and I can't remember the last time he got across his man in the box. He seems to be waiting for it to come to him. Strange, he used to have decent movement once upon a time.

I think the last decent player who filled that role for us was Marcus Stewart. I’m struggling to think of another player, maybe McGoldrick or Bent?!?

Not sure Pablo or Kuqi were that type of player.
