"Mark Ashton ran from adversity" 23:32 - Mar 26 with 474 viewsgrow_our_own

Good write up by Oliver Rouane-Williams tonight in the context of Ipswich's City of Culture bid:

Damning.

Fantastic article. I am not Ipswich born and bred but to me, based on my experiences of the town and Suffolk in general, the writer of this article stands for what Ipswich stands for a million times more than the corporate go getter Mark Ashton ever could.

Poll: What rating out of 10 do you give to Ipswichs season up to this point?

Perfectly written article this, the title sums it up personally. Ashton can talk the talk, but far from walk the walk, lying to fans and staff, beyond pathetic

“He pledged "the full support of the football club, the full support of me, the full support of my manager, the full support of my board, the full support of my players.”

“My”.
