Not the best game you will ever see us play 07:24 - Apr 7 with 464 viewsmuccletonjoe

But one way or another we managed to get it over the line. Maybe the goal that never was evened up a few that have gone against us this season, notably, Charlton. But I cant see that sort of luck holding until may.
We are going to have to find a bit more control and alot more aggression, especially next week , where merely kicking the ball away for half an hour is unlikely to work in our favour.
Having said that, the outcome of yesterday has left us in the best possible position for promotion, and in the first week of April we are now best placed so far this season. A fantastic time to find a bit of form, it won't be easy, nothing ever is. But maybe, just maybe our name is on that second place.

I think the Norwich game will be quite different. Birmingham, like Millwall and Wrexham, went for a hard press and close marking. That very much disrupts our passing play. We don't have the height and physicality to dominate in those conditions. We get pushed off the ball, rushed into poor accuracy and not given the space to move.

I actually think we did exceptionally well to stand up to it yesterday, albeit was painful to watch.

Good Lord! Whatever is it?

I think its good to get that sluggish performance ( usual post International break ?) out of the way... now we can get ready for "them" and hopefully get some players back in the squad ready to go ...

Control and aggression sums it up. We’ve had neither for a very long time except the odd game.

To spend so much, and have so little control at this level…., it can only be coaching, talent Id, and lack of ability to organise and motivate…, because it’s not a one off, it’s been two seasons now…, imagine this group in the prem, from a starting point where our wages are three turned higher than our legacy group.

Our legacy group were better than this, not more quality but a much better team for sure.

That’s not good. What happens when everything is geared around Mark. With no agency.

Norwich very much pressed Milwall high yesterday, and i can see them doing it again against us.
