Was thinking given how many players had great performances today I have not see any posts crediting Matusiwa. Was told after Brum he had an ailment that puts the average person out for several weeks. Yet today he still showed up and you would be none the wiser that he was likely playing with some if any restriction in his legs.
Top top professional wondering if he is now given a game off against Pompey where surely JT, DN, JC and MN can do the job in what will be a game with a lot of possession for us.

I’m going to be controversial (shock).

I didn’t think he had his best game this morning.

Gave the ball away a lot.

And yes, I know we did that a lot as a team, fortunately the closing down and blocking around the box was exceptional.

RIP Sir Bobby

Good job we weren’t playing this morning then🤔

He was well off it today. I was saying to Metal Hacker that I didn't think he would play much of the second half.

A dead leg isn't a playground injury and he did well to play through it but I would definitely rest him on Tuesday night against Portsmouth.

haha. No i do agree it wasn't his best performance but I was really looking past it given the legs situation. Such a rock that even when he's not at his best he plays start to finish and is able to read the game cleanly all 90+ minutes.
Considering how normally slow we are to bring players back from injury he just continues to show up. Think the derby without him would've been very different without his prescence in the way of Norwich's attack.

Tend to agree, but taking into consideration he didn't look 100% match fit to me, yet he was still willing to put his body on the line for the cause, he gets a pass from me. He's been absolutely terrific this season.

was definitely playing within himself. Not the fastest anyway, he dialled it down even further. Did well considering. Taylor played well and covered up any cracks in the midfield.
