Fouls on keepers 07:46 - Apr 15 with 455 viewsvictorysquad

Pompey fully deserved it last night, our support was pretty quiet and it needed to be a lot louder to counter theirs.

But the thing that surprises me is that their 27 (Ali?) just goes and starts to push around Walton for every corner. It was very effective at putting him off for the 1st goal, but he proceeded to do it for corners and none of our players were doing anything about it.

Is this normal? is it allowed?

It didn't look quite enough for a foul but I did wonder whether VAR would have picked that up if it was in use.

I didn't see it but the referees hide behind this 'ball in play' thing now before they can give anything. Games gone, part 56789

Well he was standing 2m away, alone, so the ref did not see him next to him, then when they went to take the kick he would go and start backing into him!

It just seems insane this is allowed, if the ball was there I could understand it, but it seems shocking this is allowed.

It's been happening every game for a while now and Walton just loves getting involved. He always grabs and holds and then pushes away, but it's then left him short a few times because he can't set himself well. He just needs to go down or highlight the foul.
