Wasn’t there another case recently where a club avoided additional sanctions because they argued the new owners shouldn’t be penalised for actions of the old owners? Or maybe I’m misremembering.

I agree with you but Man City's charges are (seemingly) A LOT more complex hence the time to deal with it. However, you'd have thought by now there would be an idea of what has gone on and can punish them appropriately.

Particularly harsh on SheffW when the penalty is being imposed because they won't pay enough to the previous owner who got them into this mess in the first place.
Unsecured Creditors (which is mostly Chansiri) getting 6p in the £ upon exiting admin rather than the 25p minimum which the EFL require. Hence the massive points deduction next season as well. |  |
