But no more wiggle room. We simply have to beat Charlton and West Brom now which is a big big ask with their motivations.

We may well then need a win against QPR depending what we can do against Southampton. A draw at Southampton might do it if we have won the other two

Hopefully West Brom will be safe by the time we play them, which might help a bit

They won't be regardless of their result unfortunately as they have a pending points deduction. It's been confirmed if they are found guilty the points will be deducted this season. It sounds like it will be minimal at least but I think 3 points is likely. In any case they know they have to keep getting points because they simply don't know how many points they will get.

It sounds like it's an accidental and marginal amount they have overspent with some mitigation and that it's likely to be a minimal points deduction. But whilst 1-2 is probably fair I think the precedent is more like 3 points.

Being co-operative also stands them in good stead. I'd be surprised if it's as much as 3 points given the small level of infraction.

Can’t see us getting another win before QPR unfortunately. I just don’t think we have the mentality. We just don’t seem to want it enough. We only turn up for one half of football and have done for most of the season. I wish one of the media would confront McKenna about that and ask why it keeps happening?

This is what is being suggested as much as I agree with you. But it's largely irrelevant as they don't know what it will be so have to consider themselves as needing to win/draw.
