With two divisions still to declare, the Lib Dems in North Norfolk have managed to prevent Reform from taking control of Norfolk County Council, leaving them between one and three seats short.

The interesting aspect here is that Rupert Lowe won all nine seats up for grabs in Yarmouth, with Reform having come second in all but one of them.

Will Lowe and Farage's mutual hatred be strong enough to prevent them from forming a coalition, or will their mutual hatred of anyone non-white and non-British be enough for them?

(As an aside - the Greens have just taken Norwich City Council as I type this)

You ain't a beauty but, hey, you're alright.

I don't think Farage or Lowe will act as kingmaker for the other. Their egos are too big. Unless this is all a long term grift from Farage and he doesn't actually want to be PM.

These elections are only temporary. There will be new ones next year for the new unitary authorities.
Plenty of time for politcs to change.
