How do you know it wasn't spying?
I think the probability is that they spied on everyone from Oxford onwards. You don't spy in December then so nothing again until April.
Lots of goals from set plays and stopping other teams set plays in that run.

I agree that it's highly likely that Saints had been spying on other League opponents. If they'd just sneaked into the play-offs, the 7th placed team would have felt quite upset. Would have been near impossible for the FL to re-set the play off semi finals. Sometimes there isn't a perfect solution. |  |
