Given Ashtons history of wanting to go a bit out of the box with managerial appointments.

Miguel Molina-First Team Coach at Arsenal.

Only 33 years old but plenty of coaching experience previously with Athletico Madrid initially from 2017-2020 working with Simeone before joining Arsenal in 2020. Degree educated in Sport and Exercise Science. Any of that sound familiar.

A risk yes, but I would much rather that then go for O'Neil or Rosenior or Parker.

35 year old Career coach with 15 years experience of coaching under his belt. Worked as an assistant, got all his badges before being made manager in 2024. Got them promoted from the Bundesliga 2 and then a comfortable finish in the Bundesliga this season.
