With Ashton already having said that deals have progressed and just needed managerial sign-off, you'd hope announcements are imminent.

I cant say that im up with current football financial rules but is that a thin for a buying club? You only get the possibility of 1/36 benefit hitting your P&L for amortisation charge. I can see the benefit for a selling club squeezing a sale into this year rather than next. With that, there may be some clubs looking to transact urgently if they are mitigating a breach which could be an opportunity for us. The other side is anyone coming out of contract on July 01 that could be tied up this week.
