I understand the reason for the rule, and agree with it entirely, but it all ends up looking a bit playground doesn't it?

Player says something beneath his hand, and the opposition all go running screaming to the referee going 'Sir! Sir! Sir! He covered his mouth!'.

I think everyone knows why they should be red cards. I couldn't agree with this rule more. If it's just regular sledging, then there'd be no reason to cover your mouth.
