Set pieces 11:04 - Jul 4 with 363 views

Looking back through some previous season highlights. Esp the previous champ campagn. We used a lot of various set piece plays.

When you go back there was morsy v rotherham for example and chappers getting involved.

Didnt really feel weve done this much since those first two seasons.

We kinda tried something last season... but that was oshea at the back but as the season went on that kinda stopped too.

With set piece goals key to prem survival i really hope this is an area we do put our momey into bringing in someone special.

Thankfully Mark Hudson has now left the club, so hopefully we should have some fresh ideas in the building if we appoint the right person. I couldn't believe how our set pieces dropped off a cliff once he was appointed.

Yeah he was a bit of a suprise signing for the coaching team. He didnt come with glowing references.

Im a little consious of oneils history on this front. But maybe with our funds and backroom team we may have learned something ourselves from the hudson involvement.
