I like him, has always been solid for us even though not a regular starter, rarely had a bad game. Also has had a great world cup, so he'd be a good signing for you, I'd happily keep him" That's more like it!!

"Congrats on Diop, absolutely gutted to see him go, IMO its a massive mistake to sell him. Hopefully there will be a mix up and we will sell you Anderson instead and keep him" I'm taking that as a positive, he's a very realistic Fulham fan

I always put quite a lot of stock in other teams' fans views.. yes there are always extremes and incorrect views... take a view of Jack Taylor or Jaden Philogene at the start of last season for instance. But if you take the majority view its rarely that far off the mark. Interesting the Leicester forum view of McAteer.. 'nice guy, one of our own, had some attributes, but no where near that transfer fee, and not prem or top champ level' - don't think any town fan would have disagreed. BUT, through good coaching, his focus, and his physical attributes... we warmed to him. But for me still hasn't justified the fee.

| Another Fulham fan view of Diop.... on 16:04 - Jul 20 with 993 views | Vic | Couple more here: "Selling a player that has 1 year left and signing a player that is way better for the system is a W for me. Diop deserved more playing time last season. I'm gutted we are losing him but happy for him cause he deserves more minutes." "Understand people aren't happy with the fee but we got him for £15m so getting £8m 3/4 years later isn't a bad return. I think given how he's performed and not moaned about his game time the last couple of seasons as well & the fact we are in advanced negotiations for his replacement already they've let him go somewhere he'll get good mins rather than us holding out for an extra couple of million." "Best of luck to Issa Diop who, for the most part was a solid CB for Fulham. Off the back of an impressive World Cup, Fulham seem to be cashing in, with his contract up in 2027. It leaves Arbeloa with Andersen & LDF as first-team options at RCB" Seems like they liked him and that he did an OK job in the prem. I'm happy with that. | |
