We would have been top by a country mile, by the metrics used by this. Pre McKenna one Play Off loss to Norwich of all people and an unexpected run to the League Cup semi was all we had since the Royle days.

We are still one of only a handful of the 92 clubs ,single digits, who haven't played at the "New Wembley".

Looking at the few clubs below us in that league we appear to be at 'elite' level...but then so do Lincoln City. Is it a misery league or just a 'meh' league ?
