I suspect we would have had digital ticketing anyway and it will be mandatory next season regardless what league we are in. I did see one post asking if anyone had received a plastic ticket yet. Apparently not and no communication from the club, can’t pin that one onto the Premier League. I have got an aging six year old IPhone SE which may or may not download my season ticket into my Apple folder, probably a 60/40 percent chance in my favour. Therefore as in doubt I have requested a plastic ticket, no response! Why didn’t the club issue the digital version before the plastic ticket deadline? At least I would have known either way if my digital ticket would work or not before applying for a plastic ticket. I am now left in no man’s land wondering whether to attempt to download the ticket or to wait for the plastic ticket as I do not want to have two live versions of the ticket. Quite honestly I would prefer a plastic ticket anyway’

Its been introduced at the busiest time for various tickets going on sale meaning people are trying to buy, compounded by folks being either away or going on holidays only to find when they log on that two accounts that worked perfectly well for years now dont work. They cant get their e season ticket nor their linked account tickets and the self help instructions do nothing to resolve the problem. I had to wait twice for nearly an hour and then had to hang up because of other commitments. I have emailed and the club is under huge peak demand. I guess it will sort out over the next two weeks otherwise they will have to have the plastic printing press at the ready 😂 [Post edited 4 Aug 8:08]

We only got access to download tickets on Friday so it's no surprise that plastic tickets haven't been sent out yet. I only received my physical ticket 6 days before the first game last season

You’ll be fine. The iPhone SE supports NFC and the Apple Wallet.

I’ve got to wait for a reset but apparently my problem may have been because my default browser was chrome but it should be safari..hopefully that’ll sort it..🤞

Not sure what the problem is with regard to Apple ios phones but I went to the Ticket site via the ITFC App on my iPhone and downloaded my season ticket without any issue whatsoever (presumably using safari in the background?) [Post edited 4 Aug 10:08]
