The Adicts 00:02 - Aug 10 with 1284 views

As you do after a few sherberts on a Sunday evening, dreading the start of the working week, letting youtube run a random mix of my music, it came up with the Adicts set at Hellfest in June this year.
Never realised that they were still touring, and still got the energy that has left many of us who remember them.
So if we do get an arena of some sort in the fan zone area, surely there can only be one act that can open it, bearing on mind monkey's face is seen on the flag at fpr and on many street signs around the town...
They are an intrinsic part of the club & town.

Last time they played here was around 2012/13 at the Railway. Epic gig. It would be some homecoming!

I asked Monkey a few months ago if they had any plans to play any shows back here, but he said none are on the cards at the moment.

I was there! My mate got hit full bore by the glitter cannon! As he spitting bits out we were pi$$ing ourselves about what would have been the campest death in the history of popular culture! He didn’t see the funny side. Last saw Monkey in The Dove after we’d lost 5-2 to Southampton!
