In a few hours, 4 of us will get to St. Bees where we start a 192 mile stroll across the Lakes, Dale's and NY moors to Robin Hoods Bay.
As an added bonus, won't be on here much for the next 3 weeks...at least during the day.. Taking 3 weeks with 3 rest days built in...

Yep,quite a few mountain bikers out today. The winds were brutal and I dodged most of the rain (last 5 mins) |
I do a lot of running on the moors. Bloworth crossing is particularly bleak expecially with this wind, and the old railway line to the Lion goes on, and on...but there is a beautiful openess and often solitude on the moors. enjoy the last couple of days of your walk. |  | | |
