Is GON looking at these games with rose coloured spectacles or is he just protecting his players by saying we are in these games against Liverpool and Arsenal ?
I don't question whether we can score goals. What I question is can we stop other teams putting a game out of reach quite quickly.
Things kinda went wrong when the loan deal for the striker fell through and we had to buy Flemming. Nothing wrong with him, seems a great buy, but the mere fact was we needed a couple of defenders regardless of whether we thought those already in the building were good enough. Now it proves they are not. That's not to say all of our defenders. I believe both O'Shea and Davis are fine and possibly Greaves who I think is trying to cover others inability. GON needs to find a solution and pretty quickly.
