After some time away from the ground, I took my two young daughters yesterday, and they both loved it.
They would like to go to some more matches. I did have a membership in the last Premier League season, but for various reasons (mainly financial) didn’t really end up going.
I note that this season if we bought memberships now that we would not be eligible for the ballot, which is fair enough.
My question is, if we 3 of us joined up, how likely is it that we would get tickets for 2 or 3 matches this season via the members only release after the ballot? We would need 3 together, which no doubt would make it harder.

I am in a similar position to you.
I have a membership for probably 2 to 3 home games per season and maybe getting to safc and nufc away. I live in the North East.
In my experience your challenge maybe the 3 together that you seek.
In 24/ 25 my daughter and I did Leicester at home (2 great seats in Churchman’s upper) and Brighton ( 2 severely restricted view ) in Bobby Robson lower. On both occasions both at least were together.
I have kept my membership over 3 years which means I now have 11 loyalty points ( frustratingly missed out on Everton away which I could attend but would have got Man City away which I can’t as likely to be on holiday!!

All 3 would need to be members and I think you’d be fine to get to a few games, but with some caveats.
You’d probably need to be online for the Monday 10am ticket sales to be sure and likely ambivalent to the stand you sit in. That said, I’ve seen some games still have tickets available on members day around midday, but unlikely 3 together.
I’ve gotten a ticket for two of us to each game so far (in my preferred stand), and could have grabbed a 3rd for my mates boy on at least 1 occasion.

I used all my ballot success luck last season sadly, and all tickets have been purchased via the 10am scrum!
If you make sure you’re in the queue before 10am so you get allocated the random lottery entrance then you should be fine for at least 2. Even if you’re a high number, the ticker goes down a lot quicker than you’d expect. Plus checking back around 11 is a good shout as tickets drop from peoples baskets as they change kinds and most have given uk by then! | | | |
