Who signed off on that? Seemed unnecessary. I am not above pranks and low brow humour myself but tricking our players into using a water gun just for social media clout was a bit naff, or am I alone in thinking that? The players did not respond well to that and the bulk of them seemed embarrassed and pissed off that were being used for engagement in that way. It wasn’t a good look at all. Sure, it might pick up a few likes, but I think these social media types need to remember that we’re a football club sometimes and not take the low road on some of the content we put out. |
