Can you blame them?
I'm not saying he deserves pelters, and actually he's not been that bad (he's just not really offering any end product) but you can't score the odd screamer and use that as an excuse for being poor the rest of the time.
His first 20 minutes against Forest was bizarre. At one point there was a pass from Davis in our own defensive third that wasn't spot on, he saw it was a yard or two wayward and just left it to run out for a throw, he could have got there relatively easily with a bit of effort. Maybe that's just being a bit dozy and not necessarily laziness, but it's that sort of thing that doesn't endear him to people. |
My main hope is that both Jaden & Fatawu do their defending as well and no leave runners free like Fatawu did against Forest
It will be a tight game where we need to defend well, look after the ball and hope for a bit of magic from one of our front 4.
They have 3 centre half’s & their wing backs could cause overloads if our 2 wingers aren’t switched on.
A point would be a decent result as they are unbeaten at home.
