Absolute howler. Japan no 1. Cost Villa a point. Christian Walton. Former Brighton reserve. Not at fault in hindsight for the Hull City equaliser this afternoon. An excellent free kick from McBurnie. I still think we need to strengthen our goalkeeping options but think we are being a bit harsh on him tonight. Some perspective needed though as even the top ‘keepers make some absolute whoppers sometimes. [Post edited 1 Nov 0:15]

| We have no village green, or a shop.
It's very, very quiet.
I can walk to the pub. |

| Goalkeeping Errors. on 00:31 - Nov 1 with 153 views | Joey_Joe_Joe_Junior | Not at fault in hindsight is just utter bollox though isn’t it? Positioning was dreadful. The ball was just over 18 yards out, McBurnie isn’t getting it up and over from there! If he does good luck to him but that’s what his wall is for. He gets his hands on multiple shots that still go in, his positioning is bad in general, he’s not the answer for what a promoted club need back there however much people desperately try to look for it. Yes, there will be individual errors around the league but he’s going to consistently let in goals others would stop I’m afraid. He doesn’t do well for the first either in terms of shutting down an angle at the near post but clearly isn’t the main culprit! Again it’s on our recruitment team not him. Honestly though, I think Palmer might be the better shot stopper but that would truly be a desperation move at this point. Need to find a loan in Jan from somewhere, could be the difference.
