Security warnings when I log in to TWTD 19:25 - Mar 21 with 1509 views | Mark | When I try to log in using Firefox or Chrome there is no padlock and I get a warning that it is not secure. I logged in anyway in order to post this. Is it a site issue or something my end?

Security warnings when I log in to TWTD on 21:13 - Mar 21 with 1417 views | thebooks | Firefox and Chrome will add the message if traffic between your PC and the website isn't encrypted (the address would begin https rather than http if it was). Both browsers are taking a more and more strict view on security. Anywhere you post sensitive info (such as a pw) should really provide encryption. It's down to the website you're visiting to encrypt the traffic. If you're on a public wifi network you could be at risk by someone snooping. Unlikely, but still... It's really easy to get https these days, especially with Let's Encrypt ( https://letsencrypt.org/) TWTD really should do this (and sort out the design so it scales to a phone...)

We could be at risk from someone snooping but I have to say if some one is snooping most days I think they are more at risk of becoming enmeshed in the time drain that is TWTD...
