A glimmer of hope..... 22:47 - Jan 1 with 869 viewsHerbivore

....is that we are currently not in the bottom 3 in the form table even though today was our third loss on the bounce. I say this not to make out that we aren't doing badly, we clearly are, but to highlight that the likes of Reading, Bolton and Wigan are doing even worse. They all got tanned today. We need to be better to bridge the gap but given how awful these three (and Rotherham) are I still don't think it's entirely out of the question we could stay up. However, for that to happen we need some quality through the door very quickly. With a decent striker and one or two better defenders we'd have put Millwall away comfortably today I think and they've been in decent form. With a bit more quality at both ends I look back on some of our other performances lately and think we could have taken more points from them.

What ever happens we must stop giving goals away.
Game after game we make an error and bang goal .

And that’s why ultimately we’ll get relegated, plus the fact we don’t score enough goals.

It will not be a 'current form' table that determines our fate, but the one over 46 games.
