Not one that is entirely intentional either I'd wager. Another change of system and admittedly some changes are forced, but Lambert is hanging our kids out to dry here. Dozzell has some brilliant intelligence and seems to be the only one making anything happen, but we've got an entire midfield and a striker who like to make space and lay it off, no wonder we are just going down cul-de-sacs or being crowded out.
Whelan must be older than some cave paintings and him and Coutts look like Xavi and Iniesta they've got so much time and space.
Big question marks over Holy for me. That's another goal that's gone under him only for a late touch to ping it in the net anyway. We're bloody awful.
Assuming this is how we look "with no investment" or not, how does Lambert survive this? He may as well play as many kids as he can between now and the summer and hope he keeps his job long enough to have them ready to go next season.
