If you are white, well-off and your area is middle-class then you have opportunities that others will never have.
These people have no empathy, just derision, for people who are different from them. They will never entertain ideas that contradict their world view and will only listen to what reinforces it.
The recent comment from Trump about stopping low-income housing being built in the suburbs will resonate with these people.
