On Thursday Miss Slave turned on an old iPhone of Juniors. This morning Junior received the "apple id and phone number are now being used for imessage and face time on another phone" alert on her current phone.
Are the 2 events likely connected or should she take some action.

If the old phone was logged in with that Apple ID then yes they’re connected.

If you tap Apple ID at the top of settings it’ll show the devices you’re signed in to.

If the old phone was logged in with that Apple ID then yes they’re connected. If you tap Apple ID at the top of settings it’ll show the devices you’re signed in to.

OK will get her to do that...it is the 3 day time lag that had us wondering.
So an unknown third party device using her details would theoretically show on that list too?

Especially phone number on another phone, if that number is still in use by your family no problem, old phone just needs a new sim.

I see, the old phone has no sim now but had the same number as her current phone.
