A complex backstory to India's situation, but put simply it's more right wing populism that's becoming the cancer of countries the world over. The ruling classes using fear and hatred to divide and rule, etc.

I wonder where this is all going to end. India could be a tinderbox for some very nasty scenes as they tend to be more impulsive and less reserved than people in the west. But then given some of the scenes in the US, I'm starting to wonder if we're heading for a lot more mass violence in the west too.
