Swindon was my first away game in the late 90s. Around Xmas. Easy 2-0 win, tinpot side at a tinpot ground. The season after we took over a home stand there and won 6-0. We’ve barely played them since.
Now we’re getting d1cked at home by them in the third tier.

I got no issue with Swindon; they're a one county club, like us - and, like us, you don't follow Swindon for glamour or enjoyment. I've far more time for them, than the absolute tarts up the M4 at the Madjeski (sp).
I remember those games at the County Ground - the 6-0 was ace, as was the 4-1 the following season. Funnily enough, their 1 (Giuliano Grazioli) was the best of the lot. |  | | |
