Let's hope this doesn't get abused. Good to see sports taking head impact more seriously.

The interesting thing is that if someone goes down injured and is taken off for concussion related reasons, the opposition also gets to make a sub.

Yes good news. I'm cynical enough to expect it to be abused, but we'll see.

While they're at it, I think they need to take a look at Lambert. He seems to have suffered a bang on the head given the nonsense he's coming out with.

I think we're all suffering the effects of a bang on the head for the last decade.

On a more serious note, I bet they'll outright ban heading in the game over the next 10 years or so - they're doing it at the youth level. Although the footballs are lighter than ever before, skull on skull is as hard as it has ever been, and in my mind where most of the concussion injuries happen.
