Nervous and excited about tonight’s game 12:49 - Mar 16 with 554 viewsDarth_Koont

Which is a very rare feeling in recent years. But heightened by the desperation to see Cook get off to a good start.

Also odd to be in the sights of the opposition. A win would be massive for them and a loss pretty damaging.

I think given how many games Fleetwood have played they can't hold out playoff hopes, Shirley?

Like you I'm looking forward to tonight. I think we've improved with each performance under Cook, so it would be lovely to see that continue tonight. What I liked about the first half an hour on Saturday was the confidence we showed on the ball, some 1 touch passing and looking forward when we were in possession. Once we got into their half it was evident we looked for that forward pass out wide or into Jackson. Less so in the 2nd half, but there were genuine reasons to believe we're starting to look a better side.

Poll: Will Boris Johnson be PM this time next week?

Hope so. I’ve tried not to read too much into how we’re playing but we at least *seem* to be more on the front foot and getting more players pushing into the attacking third.

It would be nice to think that becomes more and more obvious as the games go by. Especially based on our easier run-in against teams where a point probably won’t help us much at all.
