I’d like to see us go for predominantly younger players with the potential to play higher. Players who are hungry. Players who have good character and want to be here. There has to be a bit of balance of course.
I’d love to see an end to recruiting has beens, injury prone, bad characters, journeymen desperation signings of the past few years. Other clubs recruit better than we do (e.g. Peterborough). It’s one of many areas that’s fallen away and needs investment. There is an awful lot of work to do in a short space of time in so many areas. I get a sense that the Chairman recognises that in a way Evans never did. |  | | |
