I'm of the opinion that we may not be looking at too many 30+ players unless they are the calibre of Waghorn I think PC's criteria will be based around younger more energetic players, players which pace in every position I think is his main goal, obv these players need to be quality already to improve us and inturn us to develop them further, we already have a spine of younger players here and some very promising youth's coming through, so players of that ilk is his requirement.

I'm sure he isn't, i used him as example of quality of player over thirty years old that may temp PC into signing someone 30yrs or above, if we were to find someone in their mid 20's who has half the ability Waghorn possesses he would do just fine imo. My key point also is PC's system really demands for pace all over the pitch, I mean someone may well have a bit less ability (maybe technique is a better word) than someone else but if he has pace to burn then that's an argument for playing him ahead of a more technically gifted player.

the Waghorn wasnt an attack on you - i just don't think that one is going to happen. i would be taking a look at - Jaydn Stockley from Preston - on loan at Charlton and rediscovered his goalscoring touch - he would get goals at this level. Another i noticed is out of contract is James Carragher from Wigan- although I doubt we will be in the market for another young defender. I think Lee Evans from Wigan is nailed on to sign in the midfield.
