Whlst a lot of our younger players may have been good enough for L1, Cook obviously doesn't consider them good enough for the Championship. Once promoted, he isn't going to want to rip the squad apart again. He will add a few for the push for promotion, but most of who we sign now, will form the majority of our squad for a few years to come. I will give Cook the time he needs before judging him. We will get promoted next season and kick on from there. Be patient friends, signings will happen and the good times are just around the corner. |  | | |  |

No idea why people are losing it already. Mild concern is fair enough but some people need to get a grip. Go and enjoy the Euros. Come back on July 12th and things will look a lot better.

You're absolutely right. I must admit to mild concern given the sheer numbers involved, but at present Cook deserves nothing other than our trust and support. His record last season was not good, but his assessment is that that group of players was not up to it. Time will tell if he's right or not. If he's right, I suspect the squad he'll put together will be a marked improvement. If he's wrong, he may turn out to be another Hurst. But to be honest, we've not got too many babies to be thrown out with the bathwater. It's pretty much just bathwater after last season! Today we have signed a 21 year old who has played in the premier league against 2 top eight teams within the last 12 months. That's quite exciting... |  | | |
