I owe some or all of you an apology for my over critical assessment of the England team in Sunday's final. It has taken nearly 3 days for me to calm down and realise that my comments were way over the top and unfounded. I apologise for my comments regarding players and management, none of which were abusive or racial. I have taken out my frustration of following England's failures over many years out on the current crop of players. It is not their fault for the failures of those before them. I have apologies on the other social media platforms that I use. Sorry again the good folk of TWTD, somebody my age should know better. We have a very good manager and an excellent squad that will only get stronger. Bring on the World Cup. |  | | |  |
