When will Anderson break down?
I like having Wood in as his pace adds a different dimension.
Curran isn't really a Test bowler unless the ball is swinging, although a left armer adds variety.
Robinson is promising, although he bowls slightly too short a length for my taste in English conditions. |  |

Lets see what develops, in the right conditions Curran will be very useful and Robinson has already shown that he fits comfortably into the test arena, look at the number of wickets he has taken against the two best sides in world cricket currently. Anderson does worry me, I know he wants to play and he knows his body best, but he's not getting any younger, I just hope he can last the 5 days. [Post edited 12 Aug 2021 14:27]

Decent balance in that line up and as you say some good variety in the bowling. Hoping Ali isn't too undercooked in terms of red ball cricket, though his white ball form has been good of late. The conditions look good for our seamers so need to get amongst them early. |  |
