To be fair, yesterday was the first game of the season where we didn’t have a spell of dominance where we could argue we should have come away from something. Morecambe was probably our best performance of the season, Burton we were on top until Evans’ loose pass, Cheltenham we should have been out of sight at half time, MK Dons we would have probably won had it not been for Evans again, Wimbledon our set piece defending killed us at the end. That’s not a defence at all, as I’m still fuming today, but Bolton are the first team to come and do a complete number on us rather than simply taking advantage of mistakes or a lack of organisation. But, as you say, that shambles happened after two weeks on the training pitch which is the biggest concern of them all. | |
