Sorry if I am late to the party, but have gone to redeem my free cup ticket for the Colchester United Home in the pizza cup and found that the only game it was redeemable for was the West Ham U21 game.
For all they have done well in recent times, this seems poor form from the club. It wasn't particularly well advertised that this was the only game it would be redeemable for.
I could understand not being able to use it for FA Cup, as no guarantee of a home game when it was announced, and I guess more prestigious. However would have thought it should be redeemable for the two home group games in the pizza cup.
Now it just feels like an empty gesture that was a good marketing gimmick and little more. |  |
