Home comforts...November could be a good month for us 10:42 - Nov 3 with 404 viewsN2_Blue

5 of our 6 fixtures this month in all competitions are at home. So despite a busy fixture list not too many miles on the road and time for the squad to continue to work on the training ground, something that seems to be paying dividend now.

Also don't underestimate how much impact the quality of our squad will have allowing us to bring in fresh legs for the weeks that have 3 games in a week. Our changes Burns KVY and Celina were all full or running last night.

Admittedly Burgess coming on for Coulson helped us last night but speaking to couple of Wycombe supporters they felt they really ran out of legs after their early press 1st half where as we seemed to get stronger, especially that 2nd half, even when Wycombe looked to pressure us and had a few good spells we looked solid and positionally our cover was superb. They just couldn't get in behind us like they did in first 20 mins.

The quick turnaround for games won't help smaller squads, maybe this is why our Tuesday record is so good this season.

Sunderland look like the wheels have fallen off and they don't play a league game before we play them in 17 days! Not sure if that's a good or bad thing?

Should be, although I have a feeling we might be better away from home this season - at PR teams will come and park the bus, whereas I can see more away performances like last night, especially at the smaller grounds with our superb support.

Poll: So what do we think will happen with MM and the Aston Villa job?
