Chambers red card for Col U 16:50 - Jan 29 with 978 views | Nthsuffolkblue | Huws has just equalised for them as well. Already had Shamal George sent off so 9 men with an injury time equaliser. [Post edited 29 Jan 2022 16:57]

Chambers red card for Col U on 17:24 - Jan 29 with 817 views | Sharkey | The Chambers one was one of those when he fouled a guy just outside the area and then fouled another guy inside the area. Because the ref wanted to give him a red card, he pulled it back for the first one (The second one was not obviously a red.) Swindon were telling him they'd rather have the penalty (against a debut young keeper, incidentally) , for the second one ... and I don't see why the ref doesn't see it that way. But overall, Chambers had another great game, and he stopped Swindon going 2 up and will get just a one-game ban. A great moment for Huws, who must be enjoying playing again.

I never get those sort of decisions. Clearly if there is an advantage to play you play it. I presume there was no other offence in between (e.g. offside) that would stop the advantage counting. Surely, the referee should want to keep players on the pitch given the reasonable opportunity to as well. Glad to hear Chambers did well and delighted for Huws too. Thanks for the extra info.

I was listening to Town on ifollow & half following the Colu commentary on twitter. I think for most Colu fans it must have felt like a win, looking at a few fan videos afterwards. One shows Colchester players applauding the crowd and Swindon players arguing amongst themselves.
