MK Dons - some meaningless thoughts on them. 13:04 - Feb 8 with 865 viewsMattinLondon

Taking away the fact that they have never really deserved their place in professional football. There are a couple of things about them that baffle me.

1. They are a new club, no history, no real fan base and they could start fresh. So why on earth did they decide to play in white? A boring kit colour comprehended by the fact that their kit usually features flashes of red or black. Dull. Why didn’t they go with something completely different such as purple or brown or a shade of a colour that can be identified with them.

2. Why have they retained ‘Dons’ within their name? This antagonises a lot of fans - just drop it to Milton Keynes with FCMK used to grand them.

Just pointless thoughts that still baffle me about them.

The 'Dons' bit was to justify them having a place in the league - pretending that they weren't a completely new team.
I quite like the white kit - Real Madrid-esque - but it probably means we'll be in blue on Saturday rather than our lucky away shirts.

Ready! Steady! Cook!

I suppose the ‘Dons’ part made sense at the time but no one now believes that they are connected to Wimbledon. Surprised that they haven’t dropped it.

All-white kits are ok but they had a unique chance to come up with something different and they chose white. Just a wasted opportunity to build an identity football fans can associate with that particular club alone.

The Ladies team wore blue shirts and black shorts against them on Sunday. Looked good.

Poll: What do you want on Sunday?
