It's all depressingly familiar stuff. COVID is basically a multi-system condition that primarily transmits via the respiratory route. Worth pointing out we are only 2 years down the line and genuinely don't know what the long term fallout will be. Lost track of the tweet now, will post if I find it, but someone else also pointed out potential impact of Long-Covid in the future, and that even short term, the economic benefits may not be as wonderful as this "government" suggests, with workers repeatedly absent because they feel too ill to work, older people & CVs too worried to go out etc. |  |
