The last time Man U lost a home league game in which they were winning at half time was against us in 1984

The occasionally repeat that. That was a big win in the battle to avoid relegation that season.

I'm amazed they even give it any recognition as it was before football started.

No but I know who you mean. I see him regular as clockwork at 8am every week day. The kit he wears looks like club issue rather than shop bought. I thought he may work/have worked for the club

Might have got wires crossed. The person I see is an older gentleman. Grey hair, wears a blue Ipswich coat and is often seen doing a brisk walkout along London Road Colchester. Has his joggers tucked into his socks.

Some useless information to when Manchester United last lost a league game which they were winning at half time.

Margaret Thatcher was battling the coal mining unions, the Soviet Union was considering whether to boycott the Los Angeles Olympics, Diana Dors passed away a couple days earlier, and Duran Duran topped the charts with The Reflex.

The result of the Town victory effectively handed the title to Liverpool who thrashed Coventry City 5-0 on the same afternoon to establish a five point lead. Thus helping John Wark to recieve his first League Winners Medal
